- Account Information: Your Efeton account and related account details, including your country, contact phone number, email address, username, passwords, linked social accounts, and third-party avatar. If you are an installer or commercial partner, we additionally collect your name, company name, and address.
- Device Information: Data through which your mobile phone or device could be identified, such as Wi-Fi list information, MAC address, CPU details, memory parameters, SD card details, and operating system version. When you use Efeton connected or IoT devices, we may collect device-specific data, including device serial number, physical location of the device, device logs, usage history, and operational status.
- Energy & Power Usage Information: When you connect an Efeton device to your power setup or home grid, we may collect energy generation data, battery metrics, and power flow details between grid, load, and battery.
- Contact Information: We may collect contact details such as your name, email address, shipping/billing address, and phone number when you place an order or contact customer support.
- Photo and Video: We may process photos or video uploaded directly by you to resolve support issues or update account verification settings.
- Location Information: We may collect location information necessary for installing, activating, and managing Efeton devices, configuring Bluetooth connections, updating time zones, and retrieving precise geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude) for analytics and service delivery.
- Other Information You Provide: Details such as the timestamp, subject matter, and text content of your communications with Efeton.
You are not required to provide personal data requested by us. However, choosing not to do so may prevent us from providing you with products or services or responding to your requests.
2. How We Collect Your Information
We collect your information through four primary mechanisms:
- Directly Collected from You: Personal information you provide directly, such as your name, contact phone number, email address, shipping address, passwords, social media account links, device locations, photo uploads, and manual forms.
- Automatically Collected: Data collected automatically during service use, including device parameters, Wi-Fi parameters, MAC addresses, operating system versions, and system logs.
- From Third-Party Sources: Details obtained via third-party login providers (e.g., Google, Facebook) used to access the Services, such as account name, username, avatar, and public profile data. We do not access third-party account passwords.
- Device Permissions: Mobile device permissions (e.g., location, storage, camera) requested to operate specific features. Enabling permissions authorizes collection for those functions. You may revoke permissions at any time via system settings, though doing so may disable related features. Revoking consent does not affect processing conducted prior to revocation.
3. How We Use Your Information
Efeton processes personal data on the following legal bases:

- Administrative Operations: Direct marketing, research and development, security threat detection, system debugging, auditing interactions, and enforcing contractual agreements.
- Automated Decision-Making: Automated processing or profiling is strictly limited to operations necessary for contract delivery, authorized by law, or approved by explicit consent.
- Aggregated & De-identified Data: Creation and analysis of anonymized datasets for usage metrics and performance evaluation.
4. How We Store Your Information
The personal information collected through efeton.com and related Services is processed primarily in servers located within the United States, the European Union, and China.
Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the operational purposes set forth in this policy, satisfy warranty obligations, or comply with legal requirements. When assessing retention windows, Efeton enforces data minimization standards to ensure information is stored for the shortest permissible duration.
5. Marketing
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by selecting the “Unsubscribe” link included in commercial emails or following provided opt-out prompts. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect operational messages related to active orders, warranty notices, or account updates.
Push notification preferences for mobile applications can be managed directly through your mobile device’s operating system settings.

Efeton does not share personal information with outside entities except under the following circumstances:
- Explicit Consent: Where you have granted affirmative authorization.

- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Entitlement to direct businesses to limit processing of sensitive personal information to necessary operational purposes.
- Non-Discrimination: Exemption from discriminatory treatment when exercising CCPA/CPRA statutory privacy rights.
- Shine the Light Law: California users may request once annually a list of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing during the preceding calendar year.
- Minors Content Removal: California residents under 18 may request removal of user-generated content posted to public site areas.

12. Supplemental Notice for Nevada Residents
Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A provides Nevada residents the right to opt out of the sale of covered personal data. Efeton does not currently sell personal data as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents wishing to submit a covered request regarding potential future sales may contact us with the subject line “Nevada Do Not Sell Request”.
